DG Top Shirt -Fleece shirt
In autumn 2024, DG Doggear released this longer model of its classic fleece shirt, which corresponds in size to the DG SoftShell and Extreme thermal shirts.
If you have bought a DG Fleece thermal shirt before this time and want the same one, you can buy an older model shirt here. The older shirt model is shorter and it has been well suited not only for greyhounds but also for dogs of other breeds.
The DG Outdoor Top Shirt is a thermal shirt that is meant to be worn as is or as extra warmth under a jacket. It is thicker, longer and also has a longer collar than other DG Dog Gear so-called undercoats.
Due to the clever cut of the shirt, it does not restrict the dog's movement at all, and thanks to the good fit, it stays in place without turning even when going hard.
The thermal shirt has better heating properties than many jackets, due to its tight fit, cool air does not get under the shirt. In some jackets with a looser fit, cold air gets in through the stomach flap or due to fluttering hems. The thermal shirt is also a great warmer for dogs suffering from so-called jams, most of the problems are found in the dog's spine area, so it is recommended to wear the shirt after, for example, a massage or visit to the physiotherapist.

Antipilling fleece cover
The upper part and the collar of the shirt are made of anti-pilling fleece, i.e. the so-called non-pilling quality fleece fabric. The difference to cheaper fleece materials is clear, anti-pilling fleece stays soft when washed, electrifies less and withstands wear without pilling better than cheaper materials. The fleece in the upper part of the shirt and in the collar effectively warms the dog's spine.
Intermediate part reflective fabric
Between the fleece and the Clariant fabric is a stylish black reflective fabric with a pattern. The fabric is shown in the black and white image.
Lower part of Clariant ® technical fabric
Clariant fabric has been selected for the black lower part of the shirt, because when the dog is outside, it is most exposed to dirt.

Due to the long collar and length of the DG Outdoor Top Shirt thermal shirt, it is best suited for dog breeds with long bodies and necks. Due to the length of the thermal shirt, its back does not fit quite as tightly as in undercoats, the structure of the dog's back and the width of the back also affect the fit more than other shirts.
Machine wash at 30 degrees. Note! You don't use fabric softener.
